I returned from India to green Copenhagen. My stay in Denmark continued. I took on some work from a temp agency. And I got the chance to spend time with family and friends and soak in the comfort and security of your hometown.		Paul finally came for a brief visit from India, where his work continued to drag on. He probably had the fastest introduction to Copenhagen. It is stressful never knowing how much time you have with someone you love. The constant change was beginning to get to me. I have traveled all of my life, lived in many different places, but there has been some kind of structure to it, some certainty. But traveling with Paul lacks certainty, putting me to a much greater test than I have been faced with before. How do you maintain an experience of trust and love in chaos and stress?

Katrine, an old friend from the days of my tabletennis past, graciously offered me a roof over my head in her small apartment located in a cute neighborhood in Hvidovre, where she lives with her daughter Sera - who is named after one of my characters by my suggestion.		I feel I have received a new family and again I feel life is full of angels who take care of me and show me love is the most important thing in life. When you experience and generate love in your life, you are on a path of true joy and understanding. And then Paul came back for another visit. And this time we had some more time to spend together and I got to show him more places.

View from Le Meridien Hotel in Heliopolis, Egypt, October 2007		Next stop: Cairo, Egypt. The land of ancient history, pyramids, egyptian walking and souq markets. Coming to Cairo feels like entering an Arab tale. The mosques with their domes and towers appear everywhere; ancient stone buildings and cobblestoned alleys are a usual sight in the centre of the city. Also there is a singing around certain hours of the day coming out of the mosques spreading throughout the city. It is quite a melting pot, Cairo. People follow no particular patterns in their clothing, some women wear the veil and even gloves, other women are dressed like any other Westerner. And there are mostly those who are in between the two extremes. Most men are dressed causually, western-style. And I feel quite safe walking around, except from when every other man tries to sell me something, pretending to be helpful and then wanting money for services you never asked for.
		I imagine, a lot of Egyptians are going to be insulted while I am around, but I am not interested in buying their stuff and I won't let them manipulate with me! That be said, I have decided to use humor as my way of dealing with any potentially stressful situations. It seems to work for me. I am getting really good at saying 'no' without closing my heart.
